Magnet Therapy
Known as magnetic therapy, we refer to treatment with magnetic products. Even though Magnet Health doesn’t work with any kind of natural magnetic therapy, what we offer is a complete collection of magnetic products, both for humans and animals.
Magnetic therapy is classified as an alternative or so called complementary treatment. It is not in any way to replace traditional medical or veterinary care and treatments.
Our magnetic products are known to be permanent. One single healing magnet is with its correct polarization and its correct measured strength. Gauss is the unit we use (1 Tesla equals 10 000 Gauss, i.e. 100 Gauss equals 10mT).
As we all know magnets have one north-and one south pole, which either bounces away or attracts different magnetic materials. Magnets do also create an attraction on iron.
The electrons within the magnets are rotating only in the same direction therefore it may have an effect on other types of materials which in their turn starts to rotate as well.
The different rotation creates an attraction.
Magnetic fields improve healing processes, increasing blood flow and have been given pain-relieving effects and psychological effects (Poltár: 1999).
Blood circulation
A healing process improves by increased blood flow. Oxygen and nutrients are transported more quickly to all damaged muscles and tissues.
Blood consists of blood plasma and blood cells, mainly red blood cells. These red blood cells are in their turn composed of millions of hemoglobin molecules, each of which has a central iron ion that is affected by magnetic fields to an increased blood flow. (R. Coghill: 2000).
The increased blood flow helps to transport slag products (lactic acid) away much quicker than normal after muscle work. This leads to less negative effects such as stiffness and soreness.
The red blood cells are negatively charged and so is also the vascular wall. The red blood
cells will therefore repel themselves from the vascular wall.
The microscopic image below is showing how the red blood cells look like before applying magnets. Notice how the red blood cells are very close together which indicates fatigue, stress and other health problems.
99% of the oxygen carried in blood cells is bound to hemoglobin (iron protein) and as we already know this affects the magnetism of iron.
Furthermore, iron is known to increase oxygen transport from lungs to muscles. To have a better iron level will then of course increase the oxygen transport and thus increase performance, endurance and resistance.
Blood is also composed of sodium chloride, also refers to saline. Sodium chloride is a kind of electrolyte that affects the fluid balance between the blood and the cells of the body.
What is an electrolyte? An electrolyte is an electrically conductive (freely moving ions).
(Study: In Massachusetts, the saline solution in the context of magnetic pads, showed a remarkable increase in the blood flow.)

Microscopic picture of the red blood cells after 20 min application of magnets
The picture clearly shows how the magnets re-create the energy to the red blood cells and give them the strength to free themselves from each other. This freed up more cell oxygen transport.
The bodies own substance for pain relief is something called beta-endorphins, they work simply as natural pain relievers. When the increased blood flow also leads to an increased flow of endorphins they are transported by the blood circulation in a more efficient manner.
(Study: 1998 / Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn Esse - pain relief / 4 Neodymium magnets).
Cell metabolism
All cells have an electrical charge. Inside the cell membrane the cell is negative (-) and outside the cell membrane the cell is positive (+).
For a cell to be able to work normal and to have a good metabolism 2 things are needed, oxygen and nutrients. Oxygen and nutrients will provide the cell with energy and slag products. For this to happen a chemical process must take place and that’s where the electrons come into the picture. (Electron equals element particle with negative charge). This reaction takes place also with the help of enzymes.
In a magnet, all electrons spin in the same direction and its effect is that it makes other electrons material spin as well. This electron related chemical process takes place with the help of magnetism as it makes all electrons spin the same and in the same direction.
(Study: Mount Sinai Hospital in NY (1994), an increase of 94% was demonstrated in a respiratory enzyme.)
It has also shown that magnetic therapy has a positive effect on the immune system (affecting lymfosyter).
