Q: How does the magnetic products work?
A: Blood consists of blood plasma and blood cells, mainly red blood cells. These red blood cells are composed of millions of hemoglobin molecules, each of which has a central iron atom. These are the iron atoms that are affected by magnetic fields.
Q: What is Magnet Health good for?
A: Animals need a good blood circulation to be healthy. There have been very good results using Magnet Health with horses who have had back problems, joint and tendon injuries, brittle and cracked hooves, different types of lameness, stress, nervous horses and transportation sickness and many other ailments. When it comes to cats and dogs there have been great results using Magnet Health to treat for example osteoarthritis.
Q: What is Gauss?
A: The strength of a magnetic field is measured in Gauss or Tesla. Tesla comes from Nikola Tesla (1856-1943). 1 Tesla corresponds to T 10 000 Gauss. For example 200 Gauss are the same as 20 mT (micro tesla).
Therapeutic magnets are more common by using the unit Gauss. Magnetic therapy products have a strength of a few hundred to several thousands Gauss. As a comparison to the earth’s natural magnetic field with only 1/2 to 1 Gauss and an ordinary refrigerator magnet with 10 Gauss.
Q: Are there any side effects?
A: In general the side effects are minimum. In the beginning some animals can become a little worried. In most cases this is when the magnets are adapting to the magnetic field. If the animal becomes too nervous or stressed you should remove the magnets from the animal and put it on at a later stage. This is only to let the animal gradually adapt to the magnetic field.
Q: What precautionary measures should you think about when using Magnet Health on horses?
A: Magnet Health is not appropriate to use on mares in their late trimester.*
- Do not use Magnet Health in combination with liniment.
- Do not use Magnet Health within 3 days of an injury.
- Do not use Magnet Health if the horse has an untreated infection.
- Please consult with your vet if your horse is under medication.
- Magnet Health should not be replaced by traditional veterinary care. It should be seen as a complementary treatment.
Q: How should Magnet Health be used on a horse?
A: Magnet Health should be used when the horse is in his/her stall.
Begin using Magnet Health on the horse for only 20-30 min at a time so he/she can gradually get used to the effect.
Do not use Magnet Health while you are riding the horse or when the horse is in his/her turn out.
When using Magnet Health for the first time please keep your horse under supervision. Some horses react by becoming worried but the majority of horses become very relaxed and sleepy, some may even begin to lay down.
Studies have shown that it takes only 40 min for the Magnet Health to be effective.
By using Magnet Health more often and shorter time it has been shown to be more effective than using it for hours at a time.
Do not use Magnet Health on your horse for more than 8-10 hours/day.

Q: Is Magnet therapy a totally new alternative treatment?
A: Certainly not. Q: What is the electromagnetic field when compared with the magnetic fields from permanent magnets of medicine.
A: People and animals have a natural and necessary electromagnetic field, where each cell has its own electrical circuit. When we are healthy the cells have a natural charge adapted to the earth's magnetic field. The artificial electromagnetic equipments as radars, X-rays, power lines, etc is similar to our own magnetic outflow. The unnatural magnetic fields disorientate and affect the cells that include such incompatible fields, despite the fact that we are maintaining with the earth's natural magnetic field.
Magnets (which affects the blood circulation through the iron content, as mentioned earlier) it provides a constant electro-motor force, which is compatible with our own magnetic field. In case of contact with healing magnets, enhanced radiation, and the cells may help to get back to a natural charge of the unit with the earth's natural magnetic field. It should be made clear, that magnets themselves do not heal they only stimulate the cells to function better and to speed up the healing.
